Well, it’s official — I’ve signed on to host another session this September at WordCamp Tampa.
This is another great opportunity for me to share the tips, tricks, and strategies I’ve personally implemented that have enabled me to earn a five-figure monthly income freelancing. Actually, this will be my second speaking engagement following WordCamp Vancouver in August. I would call myself Carmen Sandiego at this point, but I’m actually pretty easy to find. All you need to do is look for a WordCamp stage near you.
I’m excited to once again give my spiel on earning substantial, sustainable income while working as a freelancer. I’ve learned the ropes of the freelance game on the fly, and together we’ll delve deeper into a dozen or so topics that’ll help ensure you’ve set yourself up for success as a freelancer.

The Tampa gig means I will have spoken on both North American coasts this year, as well as traveled to the middle of the country (WordCamp Minneapolis) and made a jaunt across the Atlantic (WordCamp Europe).
These trips would not have been possible if I were still working a typical nine-to-five desk job, something I’ll be sure to point that out in my talk. So, for me, 2016 has been an eye-opening year to say the least.
I’m looking forward to seeing some now-familiar faces at yet another great WordCamp event, as well as networking with my fellow WordPress experts and peers. I’m excited to share my stories of both good and bad clients, along with the trial-by-fire nature of freelancing in general. I’ll share how each of these experiences have helped propel me past the five-figure mark.
